Buoy Trip Insurance

Every boat and jet ski reservation made on Lake Havasu Boat Hub automatically includes per-trip rental insurance through Buoy. Buoy provides usage-based boat rental insurance designed for peer-to-peer marketplaces.

What's Covered

  • Liability coverage during the rental period
  • Hull/physical damage coverage (subject to deductible)
  • Renter coverage as named insured

Coverage limits, deductibles, and exclusions are defined in the Buoy policy terms presented at checkout.

Florida SB606 Compliance

Buoy's per-trip policies are designed to help peer-to-peer rental operators comply with Florida Senate Bill 606 insurance requirements. Operators in Florida should review the policy alongside any state-specific requirements.

Required at Checkout

Insurance is mandatory and cannot be opted out of. The premium is itemized in your booking total. Renters must accept the Buoy policy terms before checkout completes.

Claims

Claims should be reported to Lake Havasu Boat Hub within 24 hours of the incident. We coordinate with Buoy for claims handling.
