Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

Welcome to Lake Havasu Boat Hub ("Marketplace"). By accessing or using the Marketplace, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Marketplace Role

Lake Havasu Boat Hub is a peer-to-peer rental platform connecting boat and watercraft owners with renters. We do not own, rent, or operate the watercraft listed on the platform.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid government-issued ID, and meet all local boating requirements to rent a watercraft through the Marketplace.

3. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are confirmed through our checkout system. A 10% renter service fee and per-trip insurance are applied to every booking. A temporary $500 security authorization hold is placed on every reservation.

4. Security Deposit Hold

The $500 hold is an authorization only — not a charge. It is captured in part or full only when there is documented damage, late return, missing fuel, cleaning required, or rental agreement violation. Disputes are reviewed by Marketplace staff.

5. Insurance

All rentals automatically include per-trip insurance through Buoy. See our Insurance Disclosure for details.

6. Owner Obligations

Owners must maintain accurate listings, current registration, and a seaworthy vessel. Owners receive 90% of the rental subtotal as payout (10% marketplace commission).

7. Cancellations

See our Refund Policy for cancellation windows and refund eligibility.

8. Liability

The Marketplace is not liable for injury, property damage, or losses arising from rentals. All renters and owners assume the risks inherent to boating.
